The Panther Eye is Sweet Home High School’s student newspaper. The group consists of over 20 students that meet bi-weekly and cover various News, Life & Arts, Viewpoints and Sports events. This is the second event The Panther Eye has hosted to benefit a Sweet Home group, the first being the Panther Eye Movie Night which was held in December of 2018 to raise money for the Sweet Home Family Support Center.

The Sweet Home Education Foundation (SHEF) is a group dedicated to supporting the 3,400+ students of the Sweet Home School District. One of SHEF’s primary programs is the Weekend Backpack Program. The program’s mission is to discreetly provide children and their families with nutritious, easy to prepare food at times when resources are not available. SHEF has partnered with FeedMoreWNY to provide additional nutrition, but SHEF still heavily relies on the communities support and donations to maintain this large program.
