Where is the 5k happening?

Due to COVID-19 concerns, the event cannot be held in-person. That means you can participate from wherever, whenever! Check out the routes page to get some route ideas.

How much will it cost?

It is $25 for an individual, $40 for a partnership and $60 for a family. All proceeds are benefitting SHEF Inc.’s Weekend Backpack Program.

Who is this benefitting?

This 5k is benefitting SHEF Inc’s Backpack Program. The Weekend Backpack Program discreetly provides children and their families with nutritious, easy to prepare food at times when resources are not available, such as weekends. The food SHEF provides is child friendly, easily consumed and non-perishable.

How do I register?

Registration opens at Noon EST on May 12th. You can head over the registration page to register.

Do I have to register to participate to support the cause?

No! We are accepting donations that will go to the Backpack Program via the donation page. Bins to drop off food donation can be found in the main foyer of District Office. For other ways to help, contact SHEF using this link.

How are race times being submitted?

Race times will begin to be accepted starting May 26th. A link will be posted on the homepage, and will be in the menu at the top of the screen. At this link you can find a form to input name, email and time. A picture or screenshot is optional to include.
